Vegetable Dishes

Ingredients :

  • 500 g fresh green beans
  • Half a tea glass (70 g) olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • Half tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 medium tomato
  • 2 cups hot water

Preparation :

  • Wash and trim the beans, cut as shown in the picture.
  • Grate or finely chop the onion.
  • Dice the tomato, chop the garlic.
  • In a large pot, layer onion, oil, beans, tomato, garlic, sugar, and salt.
  • Cover and cook on low heat for 40 min.
  • Check, stir, and add hot water.
  • Cook for another 20 min, then turn off heat when beans are tender and golden.
