Meat Dishes
Ingredients :
- 1 medium onion
- 500 g minced meat
- 1 egg
- 2 slices of stale bread (crumbled)
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1.5 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 3-4 parsley sprigs
- 1 garlic clove
Preparation :
- Wash and finely chop the parsley. Crumble the bread. Grate the garlic.
- Grate the onion and squeeze out the juice using a strainer.
- Put the squeezed onion into a mixing bowl.
- Add the minced meat, egg, bread crumbs, baking soda, black pepper, salt, thyme, garlic, and chopped parsley. Knead for 10 minutes.
- Cover the mixture and refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs.
- Preheat a pan and sear the meatballs on high heat on all sides.
- After searing, reduce heat and cook meatballs for 15 minutes, turning occasionally. Turn off the heat when cooked through.
