Bakery Recipes

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tbsp dry yeast
  • 1.5 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 6 cups flour
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Nigella seeds (optional)

Preparation :

  • In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, milk, dry yeast, and sugar. Stir well.
  • Let the mixture rest for 15 minutes to activate the yeast. Then add vegetable oil, egg white, and salt, and mix.
  • Gradually add flour and knead the dough. Cover and let it rest at room temperature for 1 hour.
  • Divide the dough into small pieces for sandwich-sized rolls, shape them, and place on a baking tray.
  • Let the dough rise again for 15 minutes at room temperature.
  • Before baking, brush the tops with egg yolk. Optionally, sprinkle with nigella seeds or sesame seeds.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 25 minutes.
