Bakery Recipes
Ingredients :
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg white
- 1 tbsp dry yeast
- 1.5 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp salt
- 6 cups flour
- 1 egg yolk
- Nigella seeds (optional)
Preparation :
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, milk, dry yeast, and sugar. Stir well.
- Let the mixture rest for 15 minutes to activate the yeast. Then add vegetable oil, egg white, and salt, and mix.
- Gradually add flour and knead the dough. Cover and let it rest at room temperature for 1 hour.
- Divide the dough into small pieces for sandwich-sized rolls, shape them, and place on a baking tray.
- Let the dough rise again for 15 minutes at room temperature.
- Before baking, brush the tops with egg yolk. Optionally, sprinkle with nigella seeds or sesame seeds.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 25 minutes.
